Recipe: BBQ Chicken Ranch Wrap With Veggies
After making this, I was impressed and wanted to snap a photo before I ate it just in case it turned out as well as I thought it had. Turns out, it did. This was an incredibly tasty little wrap. Here’s how I did it:
The Recipe
First you’ll want to prepare your ingredients. You will need the following:
- Chicken
- Cilantro
- Tomatoes
- Lettuce
- Onion
- Cheddar Cheese
- Wrap
- BBQ Sauce
- Ranch Dressing
I used a flaxseed wrap, but anything, even a regular flour tortilla will do. For the chicken, if yours is unprepared, you’ll want to prepare it first. Cook it however you want and then shred it. Once shredded, I added barbecue sauce. You can do it in whatever order you prefer. I then added the shredded BBQ chicken to the wrap and placed shredded cheddar cheese on top of it. Once that was done, I tossed it in the toaster oven to melt the cheese and make the wrap a bit more crispy before I added the vegetables, all of which were nicely chopped prior to insertion. One of the key ingredients, if you didn’t realize, is the cilantro. Must have fresh cilantro for this recipe. It makes a world of difference. Once it’s all done, add a little bit of ranch and you’re ready to eat. Yum is all I have to say.
